Jewel Perry is a digital creator, strategist and entrepreneur. Her experience and innovative approach in the digital space has positioned her as a trailblazer and visionary leader. 

With an entrepreneurial career spanning more than 25 years, Jewel has been behind the scene of digital innovation, helping to shape the way we interact, connect, and do business online. Her journey began in the early days of the Internet, where she honed her skills as a digital creator, developing groundbreaking computer loan technology and interactive websites for industry giants including Microsoft and Apple. Jewel continued her career over the next two decades pushing boundaries and helping to shape the digital landscape. In 2016, Jewel launched one of the first multi-channel streaming TV networks. In 2018 & 2021, she worked with highly esteemed National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), where she developed interactive features to help bring the museum experience online.

In 2024, Jewel released The Black Shops – a business directory connecting buyers to black-owned businesses. Recognizing the need for a centralized platform to find and support black businesses, Jewel set out to design a searchable directory for black entrepreneurs to connect with new customers. Ultimately, The Black Shops will help Black-owned businesses contribute to the economic empowerment of their communities.
